DoggySpace Social Networking for Computer-Savvy Canines

For all those happy puppy owners who don’t have enough social life of their own, now they can at least create one for their dog. In a strange “pups are people” universe, Doggyspace.com allows users to create profiles, and share photos and videos of their pups. The site has 700 profiles since launching in July, mostly by women. Not to be sarcastic here, but they are likely mostly women with dogs and no children, because as a mother myself, I can tell you that the day I have time to create a social media profile for my DOG is the day hell freezes over.

The founders say users are much more involved because of the passion people have for their pets. Accounts are free, but premium features are coming later this year.
